'Limu
Moui' sea plant |
| |
|
There were some people
(Polynesians) from Fiji who were the first to reach
the islands of Tonga; and revealed a strange type of
sea plant known as Limu Moui. Buried in an
underwater stream from the ocean and fertile rich by
soil, the underwater sea plant grew liberally; and
fed by revitalizing matter... the water.
The Tongans then started to harvest Limu Moui and
became their most precious pearl of the sea. They
viewed it as their source of endurance and better
wellbeing.
