Green Seaweed

Green Seaweed (Chlorophyta) is easily seen on the sea shores. There are a variety of ways which involve their growth and production. They could grow on Corals and even on tough layers. Green Seaweed can be seen tangled with sea grasses but should not be related to sea grass.

Green seaweeds are directly eatable by people. On some occasions they are used as a great source for fertilizer and also used as animal feed (Usually given to Chickens for early growth). Seaweed extract

Some of the green seaweeds have been found to be seasonal. From time to time one type of green sea weed can exist in such large amount that the surface of the sea may look entirely green and then after a few days later one can hardly find any trace of it.
